Best restaurants with a view in Mamaia

A good chef these days is hard to find. Luckily we dug up some of the best down by the beach.

Here are the top restaurants to go to when in Mamaia:

1. Amster’s Beach and Seafood

This year’s leader , Amster’s is the restaurant that failed to fail in any aspect. Great service, complex menu, delicious food and a view to complete the experience.

Situated on the beach, between Kudos and Ipa Nera, Amster’s is located in the northern part of Mamaia, close to H2O, Crazy Beach and Fratelli Club.

If you get to Amster’s, you must try one of their salads and their deserts!

2. La Cena Byblos

Byblos has by far the best view of all restaurants in Mamaia. Located on the sea sore, it is the ideal place to go to at sunset and have a good glass of wine.

Specialized in Italian cuisine, the best dishes are the ones based on truffles, our favourite: Tagliatelle con funghi porcini e tartufo.

The restaurant is situated near Club Mediterane Beach, close to Mercur and Minerva Hotels.

3. MCM Restaurant

A two minutes walk from Byblos, MCM is the best restaurant to pick when going on a date. Cozy, dim light, palms, live music and of course a perfect cuisine.

The menu is specialized in fish and seafood, but you can find various other dishes that will surprise you in the best ways possible. This year we indulged in their deserts and with no regret.

MCM is located on the beach near Golden Tulip Hotel (ex Junona) and is opened until midnight.

4. By Toni

Although good service has never been on their menu (and you don’t need my review for that one, simply click on Tripadvisor), By Toni serves pretty good food and has a lovely romantic atmosphere.

Also an Italian restaurant at its core, their food variety spins around salads, pasta and pizza and the chef pretty much knows his job of delivering good taste.

By Toni is located on the beach, in front of Iaki Hotel, closer to the central part of Mamaia.

5.  (Bonus) Irish Pub Constanta (The Harp)

Ok, so I know it’s not actually in Mamaia, but since you’ve traveled so far, you have to pay one visit to Constanta and see The Harp.

Located near the Tower Building in Constanta, with a glimpse of the sea right across the terrace, The Harp is the main attraction when it comes to great cocktails and delicios food.

With one of the most elaborate menus I’ve ever seen, it delivers exquisite quality at fairly low prices. Alcoholic cocktail prices range from 11 to 15 RON and taste better than ever. A personal favourite is the prosecco cocktails department with various mixes to choose from.
